These are entry level hancuffs. See the metal piece sticking way out on each cuff? Hold that lever down to release cuffs without a key. There is a sliding piece to lock the cuffs in a certain position as well. This may make many people who are new to bondage play, or those who lose keys often, more comfortable. However, we would like to note that these are not nearly up to the quality standards of double locking police handcuffs, and, in our opinion, not as safe. The "easy-out" lever can get bent, rendering it useless. We know from experience that there is also some danger of not being able to get out even with the key if the interior mechanisms are out of alignment, which is not unusual with these. Be prepared to replace them every year, approximately, depending on frequency of use.
